Spring where did you go?

This past week was a little rough on me. It was rainy most of the week. I was feeling very fatigued and frustrated with a personal issue. I didn't want to do much but lay on my couch. However yesterday I woke up to the sun shining and the air feeling soooo warm and inviting! I think it was about 65-70 degrees. I was feeling so refreshed! So I took advantage of the warm weather and I visited a couple places just to get out of the house. I ate at Arby's, went to Walmart, then I visited our local yarn shop. I asked her about lessons for learning to use my yarn spindle. I have been wanting to learn since my parents bought me a one for Christmas. She set up a lesson for me next week! I can not wait to learn!!

Then I picked up Seth at work and we checked out a garage sale. Then I got a grape slushie from Sonic. Later that evening we had dinner at Applebees and saw Bounty Hunter. By the time we left the theater it was starting to feel a little chilly. Even though I was expecting it, it still caught me off guard to wake up to this weather this morning. On the first day of spring even!...

Ridiculous! Fortunately I don't think it will last. I think it is supposed to warm up again next week! :)

Tonight I have been working on some granny squares to send to Amy for her Operation Granny Square for Haiti. I thought this was a really neat idea and right up my alley so I had to do my part!

Your granny squares are lovely! :) Someday I'll learn to make them! I'm still working on basic crochet skills.
