Some cuteness & 2 giveaways!

In my last post I shared the ornament I made for Dianna's ornament exchange. Tuesday afternoon I realized I hadn't bought anything to wrap my ornament in and Seth had the car so I decided I would crochet a bag for my ornament. I found the perfect pattern and made a drawstring bag! It turned out great! Shayna was the one who got mine and she seemed just as excited about the bag as the ornament! I love that she loved it!

I received the awesome ornament with bottle caps on it! It makes me laugh because if you knew this family, it is so them! They are so random and funny! I love it! I had a great time at Dianna's exchange! And it was so good to see my old roommate, Kate!

Last night I started making this owl phone cozy using Elsie's tutorial. I finished it this morning and I'm more than happy with the way it turned out! It makes me smile everytime I pull out my phone from my purse!

Who loves winning free things!? I know I do! Two lovely ladies are hosting some great giveaways! The first one is Lindsay from Pixies and Bears. This super cute lady is giving away tons of things. She is giving away a personalized box, doughnut jar (and you get to choose the candy inside!!), a necklace, earrings & scarf from American Eagle, Christmas books, cookie recipe book, and a super cute ice cream kitchen timer! That's a LOT of awesome stuff!! And to make it even better there will be TWO winners! Be sure to check out this giveaway! This giveaway is open until December 20th.

Next up is Kimi from Simple Curiosities! I mentioned that she is going to be having this giveaway earlier and it is now open! You are really good at crocheting!! Any tips for a beginner? Lol I could use some! I love the octopus ornament so much! And the scarves in your previous post are so cute! I am addicted to scarves so I can't wait to be good enough to crochet a million of them! Your owl cozy came out great! I was going to try to make one, but I need to get the basics down before I take it on! Hope the holiday season is going well for you!!

I am never trying to make a whole skein into a ball of yarn ever again lol, way too much work! But I'm definitely gonna try out what you said and doing towards the end! I am still trying to find a minute to try to crochet! Every spare minute I get I have been trying to finish wrapping gifts :) I hope you are having a good holiday season, only one week :)
