Kids are Funny

This afternoon I went out to the school that Seth teaches at for a going away party for him and a couple other teachers that weren't coming back next year. A lot of the kids made cards for him & we were just reading some of them and thought they were really cute and funny! Especially the 3rd graders. I wanted to share a couple of my favorite poems that they wrote for him!

"A man named Mr. Tyler was a teacher.
Soon afterward he became a preacher,
He'll leave CCA
To preach and to pray
He'll be called Mr. Tyler, the preacher!"

"Makes things work
Right a lot of times
Teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Yesterday is what he remembers
Loves kids
Eats a little
Right handed"

"Teacher
Smart, tall
Teaches, preaches, makes us laugh
Schoolbooks, school/church, Bible
Preaches, baptizes, recognizes
Bearded, black suit
Preacher"

"Man
Radiant
Teaches computer
You teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
Loves Jesus
Eagle lover
Rides a bike"

"Makes us laugh
Rides a bike
Teaches us how to type
Yells, 'Turn off the computer.'
Likes to be a pastor
Electricity understander
Rewards us for doing our best"

There were more but these 5 stood out to us and made us smile. Especially the electricity understander & the eagle lover... Seth has no idea where they came from but it's funny! And their drawings of him are super cute too! Seth really enjoyed his time teaching at this school. The kids were amazing and so smart.
