I did it!

I finally did it! I knitted! I already knew how to do the knit stitch but I couldn't for anything get the purl stitch. Today I saw some beautiful knitted things on a couple blogs and etsy and I decided I was going to try again and it was successful! You may think it's silly, the purl stitch shouldn't be that difficult to learn once you learn the knit but for me I had many frustrated tries. It's not perfect but I'm super excited about it, you have no idea! I'm going to practice, practice, practice.

YAY!! I understand completely, I was the same way with crocheting. Its the best feeling to accomplish something new! I can't wait to see what you make!

I am still learning all of the different stitches, I watch a lot of youtube videos. We need to start our own knitting group since we live so close to eachother!

congratulations! i want to learn to knit so bad, but i figure I should figure out crochet some more. plus, it just seems so difficult!

Give me a crochet needle and I will go to town, but for some reason 2 needles frightens me. Hmmmmm. Maybe I should give it a go. Way to go on figuring out that stitch. :)

Nice job!! See its easier than it seems! After a while you won't even pay attention to what your doing and you'll just knit away!
